Up-north fun weekend

We did our annual family fun weekend up north. Thank you Nana & Papa for letting us use your getaway. It rained for the 1st part of our weekend so we did movie night Friday.

Than Saturday we went to the dells cause it was still raining. We went to a craft mall,bowling and Famous Dave's for lunch. Here's Sophie and her piggie hat at lunch.

We finally got to enjoy the sun and beach Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.

What a great weekend we had. We all are looking forward to next year's adventures!!

Welcome our newest member of the DeGroot family

After Gunner our black lab passed away in December we went back and fourth weather we were ready for another puppy. In July we found our newest addition. We had to drive over 2hrs to get her in Hilbert WI. We made a day of it, having a picnic and going to a near by lake. As soon as we met her we knew this was a perfect fit. We all loved the name Maggie.

Maggie fits right in. She is not only awesome with our kids she is great with the kids I watch. She loves all the kids in the neighbor hood they have a hard time keeping up with her. She went to the vet and weighs 3lbs and got a perfect bill of health. The vet doctor says we picked a great fit for our family. We love Maggie Mae very much.

Getting a puppy...

Soon we will be welcoming a new addition to our family. We are adopting a puppy. We all are so very excited. We are going to pick her up this Saturday. It is a 3hr drive one way so we are making a fun family day. We still need to decide on a name for her. Since Gunner our black lab passed away in December we have all felt a big hole in our family. Gunner was a great dog and was with us for 13yrs. We have all felt it is time to add a new one. We will for sure share many pictures of her & let everyone know the name we decide.
